🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: LONG-TERM HIGHWAY 77 CLOSURE

ARDOT has announced a major traffic change beginning Wednesday, October 7.

Weather permitting, Highway 77 will close to through traffic between I-40 and Highway 191 (North 7th Street) as crews begin the next phase of improvements near the I-40/I-55 interchange in West Memphis.

The closure is expected to remain in place until mid-2028.

During construction:
• Highway 77 traffic will be detoured to the newly constructed Highway 191 (North 7th Street).
• Access to local businesses along Highway 77 will remain open.
• Crews will construct the new Highway 77 railroad overpass and related roadway improvements.
• Drivers should expect major changes to traffic patterns and use extra caution in the area.
