Yall be acting like you got sh0t when I tell you pricing so…
Heres a quick breakdown of what pricing and service is like as a MUAđź’‹
* Makeup products & disposables: $5–$20+ per client
* Brushes, tools & sanitation: $2–$10 per client
* Lashes & lip products: $2–$10 per client
* Gas & vehicle expenses: $10–$50+ depending on distance
* Travel time: between 30 minutes - 2 hours, depending on location
* Setup & breakdown: 15–30+ minutes
*Carrying cases and multiple bags into venue, this includes up stairs and potential cleaning on my kit if i have to go through dirt and or mud.
* Education & continuing training: Ongoing expense
* Early-morning/late-night fees: Often $25–$100+
* Parking & tolls: Additional cost depending on location.
Most of my individual services are under $75 which is extremely under market value, I do this to keep my clients in a small area where affording basic necessities can be difficult.
Did you know that other makeup artist on the east coast are charging $500-$1,300 for just one service? Stick to your local girls and the people who support you, always🫶

Ive seen a lot of post circulating saying “We cool, but I’m still charging you full price.”
Although I do discount my services heavily it really hurts me when people try to undermine my pricing even more.
& truly no shade to the talented artists that do makeup in other adjacent areas to me because I truly LOVE that for you however I’ll be vulnerable here and say it;
My small business struggles to consistently book long term clients. I’m mostly here for life events which I love the flexibility I have in doing that but it also leaves me in a position where my income vs service costs just doesn’t match up for me…And that’s okay.🫶
Because I love making women feel their best not because of the money. It is genuinely because I love what I do.
I try my absolute hardest to keep my pricing consistently fair in the economy we have people who are putting back groceries to afford other basic necessities therefore I wouldn’t feel right taking from my clients like that so as someone who’s been there, just know I’ll never take advantage and I pride myself in giving you exactly what you want no matter what it takes.
It was & never will be about the money for me. đź’•
