Special Effects is beyond excited to announce the arrival of Kylie’s newest addition Lachlan Andrew born April 17th at 8:43am weighing 7lbs 6oz and 19.5in long! He is so adorable and mom, dad, baby and big sis are doing great!!! Congrats Kylie and Curt we are so happy to welcome him to our Special Effects family!! 💙👶🏼🎉

🎉 We are SO excited to introduce the newest addition to the Special Effects team, Ryah Hughes! Some of you may recognize this beautiful face, Ryah is the daughter of owner and stylist Wanda and will be following in mom’s footsteps starting in June!! Ryah is a talented stylist that will be offering a wide variety of services, some of her favorite things to do in the salon are custom colors and extensions!! All of us here at Special Effects are saddened to share news of the loss of one of our own, Marli peacefully passed away early this morning at home surrounded by her family. She will be forever loved, missed, and remembered dearly by our entire team! Marli was a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and soul. She was one of the most selfless people and we will miss her sweet smile here at the salon, we are all grieving and cannot imagine our lives without her! She was a proud co-owner of Special Effects Salon & Spa and truly loved doing hair for over 40 years, she loved and appreciated every single one of her clients. She will be missed by so many. May you rest in peace Marli we love you so much!!
