How do you fight ingrowns?
Different types of ingrown hairs require different ingrown fighters! One approach is to exfoliate to remove dead surface cells that can trap hair (Ingrown Elimator Serum). Another is to condition and soften the skin so that hair can break through the surface layer (Ingrown Concentrate). You can also use both types of products to prevent and treat ingrown hairs! Here is a spotlight on two concentrated, 🌱vegan treatments from that we love.
▫️ Ingrown Elimnator Serum Key Ingredients
Lactic Acid - A powerful AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that smoothes bumps and brightens unever skin tone
Willow Bark Extract - Penetrates pores & clears oil buildup to prevent inflammation
Lavender Oil - Promotes skin healing & prevents scarring
Aloe - Restores suppleness & gentle hydrates to prevent irritation
▪️ Ingrown Concentrate Key Ingredients
Tea Tree Oil - Powerful antimicrobial oil that eliminates excess sebum, prevents ingrowns, & speeds up skin's healing process
Coconut Oil - Eradicates dryness, speeds up skin's healing process, & softens ingrown hairs
Chamomile Extract - Natural antioxidant that calms the skin & soothes redness
Tamanu Oil - Antimicrobial oil packed with antioxidants & moisturizing omega fatty acids to promote new, healthy skin cell growth
⚠️Important⚠️
Using any of these ingredients by themselves can cause more issues! Specifically - DO NOT use Tea Tree Oil or Coconut Oil by themselves. The concentrations in these formulas are balanced and dermatologically tested!
As always, if you are having persistent issues with ingrowns - talk to your esthetician! It may be time to switch up your routine. We can problem solve together and discuss best fit options! These are only two of a plethora of options to help you achieve clear, smooth skin.

One of the things I love about being an esthetician is helping people to feel more confident in their skin. It's not always easy to navigate the world when you don't fit neatly into societal norms. My studio will always be an inclusive, judgement free, body positive space. Growth, empowerment, and community are values I hold deeply. 💜Sound off in the comments if any of these resonate with you! 👇🏻
