I found out on wedding morning that my bride Lindsey almost did her own makeup for her wedding—-

Lindsey came to me as a 99.9% of the time non makeup wearer and totally stressed that she’d have an out of body experience if she hired a professional bridal makeup artist to do her for her wedding

So, she almost opted to just do her own to avoid the inevitable disappointment…

Then, Lindsey’s sister found me—-in a wedding Facebook group no less 😂🙈 they’re my fav place to be 🤪

Lindsey and I chatted on the phone and both determined she’s the bride that I can help and I’m the artist for her.

At her preview session, we truly did a no makeup makeup, got a lil exposure therapy to some blush and individual lashes and guess what—-

On wedding day, Lindsey told me to bump up the eyeshadow with a lil shimmmm, bump up the blush and mayyyyyyybe even a touch of color on the lips 😍

And, we ended with this stunning, clean bridal makeup perfectly suited for my girl Lindsey and she felt totally normal!

And might I add, this could be my favorite makeup of the year thus far

✨I’ve seen countless brides be talked into extra makeup for the sake of pictures… by mom, bff or even by other artists. And it makes me sad bc you can totally tell she didn’t feel good about it but hey, if those are the rules, right?

✨Truth is, if your artist knows how to work color, light and shade and make the best use of product application and your natural facial features (Hi, it’s me!), no, you don’t “need more” to show up in photos.

✨Second truth, professional photos are so high def now, we don’t need clown makeup to show up looking right in your wedding portraits. Those photogs have gotttt you my friend!
