We have a collections container at our business and you can drop them off anytime between 9-5p, M-F or message me and I’ll come pick them up! Please consider donating your receipts. Thank you!! 🎓❤️🤍🖤

We are so excited to be able to open up our salon this week and to see you all again and be back to work in the salon! 💜

When you come in for your appointment, things will be a little different. In order for our salon to open, there are some rules and restrictions we need to follow to help keep us all safe.

If you are sick or feeling sick in any way, please stay home and we will reschedule your appointment. If you or anyone in your household has any symptoms of Covid-19 including fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, new loss of smell or taste, gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, diarrhea, and/or vomiting in the past 14 days, please stay home. If you have a fever or displaying any signs of illness, we will not able to service you and we will need to reschedule your appointment.

Please be prepared to have your temperature taken.

Our new opening procedure includes a wait time of 10-15 minutes in between clients for proper disinfecting and sanitation and will affect the amount of clients we are able to work on per day.
We are also not allowed to double book clients at this time so please be patient with us as we are trying to get all of you rescheduled as quickly as possible!

When you arrive, please wait in your vehicle and text or call us to let us know that you are here. When we are ready for you, we will let you know and come meet you at the front door. We will not have a waiting area inside at this time. You are the only person who will be allowed at your appointment. Only one client is allowed per stylist at a time.

Please remember that we need to maintain social distancing and stay 6 feet apart when possible.

You will need to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when you first enter the building. You can use your own sanitizer or we will have some available.

You will need to wear a mask with ear loops, not one that ties behind your head. If you don’t have one, we will have disposable masks available for $1 purchase. We will also we wearing a mask as we are all required to do so.

Please only bring essential items into the salon such as keys, wallet and/or phone.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any refreshments or magazines at this time due to sanitation but you can bring your own water bottle.

Please abide by these safety protocols as these are the rules we have to follow to be able to open up our salon. We realize these are some big changes and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate through this unprecedented time!

If you have any special requests or needs during this time, please feel free to contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate them! Also, don’t hesitate to contact us with any concerns.

We look forward to seeing you all very soon!! 💜 Simone, Kirsten, and Michele

Per the Governor’s announcement today, salons are able to reopen in the U.P. on Wednesday June 10th!! 🥳🎉 I have 86 people to call and get rescheduled from the last 3 months!! 😱 Please be patient with me as I start getting my schedule together and contacting everyone! I’m still waiting to find out what our guidelines and restrictions will be but will post it as soon as I know. I’m thrilled to finally get a reopening date and can’t tell you how excited I am to see everyone!!! ❤️😊. I’ll be contacting you all soon!!

I have gotten messages and calls from some clients wondering about re-scheduling their appointment these last few weeks so I wanted to update you all.

As I’m sure you’re all aware, per the Governor, the mandated closure for salons has now been extended until May 1st so unfortunately, we are closed until then. (I am really praying that it will not get extended again 😭🙏🤞)

I have frozen my schedule and am not accepting any new clients until I am able to get everyone re-scheduled from these last several weeks. I've already tried to re-schedule some of my clients from a couple weeks ago and with this extension have had to contact them again to cancel. It’s more confusing and very time consuming the more times I have to do that. I am hoping to know more by the latter part of next week to find out exactly when I’m able to re-open and what restrictions there may be and then I will be contacting everyone to get them back on the books! This has all been such a crazy and stressful time for all of us and I really appreciate your patience and understanding through all of this!

I will be increasing my hours during the week for several weeks when I re-open so that I can try to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible but please keep in mind that I will have 6 weeks worth of appointments to catch up 😱 so please be patient with me and know that I’m going to do everything I can to get everyone re-scheduled as quickly as possible in the order of their missed appointment.

I want you to know that I’ve missed you all SO much, am VERY anxious to get you back in my chair and so excited to see you all again!! I’m praying that you all stay healthy and safe and can’t wait to see you again soon 😊🌺 💜🌸☀️

***If you are struggling with your hair and need some help or advice, please don’t hesitate to message me and I’ll do what I can to help!!

I know your roots are bad, I know your hair will be too long and you won't feel like yourself. I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more.
Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort. With uncertain clarity, we hope and pray that you will be back to us soon and our industry comes back stronger than ever! 🙏
Please share and support your stylist. Help remember our hairstylist community as we stand not behind our chair right now, but united being safe through this pandemic.

I have really been struggling with the decision whether or not to close the salon and it’s out of my hands now. Just got the word that we are mandated to immediately close our salon temporarily until April 13th.

Kirsten, Michele and I will each be contacting our clients to reschedule their appointments. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe!!

“LANSING, Mich. (WLUC) -
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-20 Saturday, which makes clear that all facilities that provide non-essential personal care services must temporarily close.
These services include hair, nail, tanning, massage, spa, tattoo, body art and piercing services, and similar services that require individuals to be within six feet of each other. This order does not apply to services necessary for medical treatment as determined by a licensed medical provider.
The order also reaffirms the other temporary closures of places of public accommodation that were required by Executive Order 2020-9. The order takes effect no later than March 22 at 9:00 a.m. and remains in effect until April 13 at 11:59 p.m.”
