A little lash education for everyone:: 🙏🏼

Your lashes shouldn’t bother you. Also, your lashes should not be getting gaps especially after one full set/ fill with proper application and isolation! Getting into those lashes is so important as you can see here. From face value when she came in, her lashes looked super pretty, but when we dig in deeper, there were multiple issues we needed to address unfortunately. 😔

Picture #1: a bulky fan that has a chunky base and is attached to multiple lashes underneath and way too close to her skin. Tweezer removal could not remove this & we had to have her come in for a removal and fullset after this appointment.

Picture #2: the gap we talked about previously. This is only from one appointment with her previous lash tech. This is due to improper isolation and her fans being bulky and heavy. You can see next to the gap where I placed a small extension as we did a light fill until we could get her in to do a full removal.

Picture #3: An example of the isolated fans put on during her removal and full set! I wish I would’ve gotten an after picture of her full lashes, as you could definitely notice how smooth they move when brushing and you can see the isolation all throughout. This is going to make it much more comfortable when she brushes, washes, and give those lashes room to continue growing to be healthy and grow back in some of her spots as well through the help of a good lash serum as well!

As a lash artist completely devoted to this industry and all my clients, it really makes me sad to continue to see work that is so damaging to these women. This is a luxury service and should absolutely be treated as such. We are being trusted by our clients & when I see work that is so blatantly damaging; it becomes very frustrating. My girls all know I will never name names either because I don’t believe in that. However, I do believe in educating not only my clients, but others as well so they all know what to look for in a lash artist. Look for isolation pictures, ACTUAL application pictures, not just front facing. Anyone can make lashes look good from the front…even sometimes from the top view.
