* Hormonal changes during menstruation can alter your skin’s pH balance and oil production. This can make the spray tan adhere unevenly or fade faster.
* Some women notice patchiness, especially around drier areas like knees, elbows, or the lower abdomen.
2. Increased Skin Sensitivity
* Skin tends to be more sensitive right before or during your period. A spray tan may tingle, itch, or feel more irritating than usual.
* There may also be a higher chance of breakouts or clogged pores, particularly if your skin is prone to hormonal acne.
3. Sweating and Body Temperature
* During your period, your core body temperature may rise, and you might sweat more. If you sweat soon after getting a spray tan (before it’s fully developed), it can cause streaks or uneven color.
