10 years ago I did something extremely scary and daring ~I opened my own business ~Shear Bliss Salon 🧜‍♀️ This was difficult emotionally as it was the same year that I lost my Mother and just a few years before that, my Brother. My clients that I had for 18 years at the establishment before opening my own followed me and I Thank You from the bottom of my heart .As scary as it was, it was the best thing I ever did and one of my greatest accomplishments. I've been in this industry for 35 years and the last 10 have been the best, not giving someone else my hard earned money and being unappreciated.
Owning my own business hasn't always been easy. We all know that when covid hit, it changed everything. Many businesses went under. I'm extremely grateful mine did not. I'm eternally grateful for my clients that stuck with me through it and understood all of the changes along the way including price increases and low inventory because of lack of ability to get supplies and ingredients for those products. The suppliers increase prices on us so unfortunately in order to survive, we have to increase. During covid, some clients decided to do their own hair or grow their colors out, some were just scared to come out and of course the economy scares everyone. All of these things hurt business, especially small businesses like mine with no employees. I try not to take it personal but that's difficult because it hits personal.
I'm happy to be right where I am and I'm so appreciative to my clients that continue to put their trust in me and enjoy my services. I try with diligence to make sure every visit and experience is a pleasant one for all of you.

I would like to take a moment to send out a special Thank You to all of my clients, Family and Friends for supporting me and my business as a Salon owner especially this year. This year during COVID has been very challenging in every aspect of the word. It has affected so many of us financially, physically but especially emotionally. I am grateful to you for putting trust in the way I operate my business to keep you all safe with the measures we've taken to do so. I truly hope that I've made you special during your visits with me in the shop. (All dolled up and no place to go literally!)
I feel so fortunate to have a supportive family , Amazing friends and a dedicated client base.
