Today was Angie’s first day as Araceli’s apprentice! 🥹💜
We spent a lot of today going through our esthetics textbook and learning all about sanitation, infection control, and properly disinfecting tools in Barbicide. We’re so blessed to have Angie coming in with prior knowledge as a Certified Medical Assistant and experience working in a dermatology office!
After our textbook work, she left with a study guide and worksheets for a little homework and review. 📚✨

✨ Exciting news at Lavender Sugar Salon! ✨
We are so excited to welcome Angie, our new esthetics apprentice! 💜 She’ll be starting with us this week, and first things first… sanitation + client safety! 🧼
Follow along as Angie learns, practices, grows her confidence, and eventually begins taking her own clients. We’ll also be offering some really fun apprentice specials along the way so she can get plenty of hands-on experience. 👀
And hmmm… we’re thinking BODY TREATMENTS may be one of the first services she offers. 😍 Full-body exfoliation + a mineral mud mask + warm cocoon vibes?! Yes please.

Yep — even kids can enjoy our Head Spa! We brought along the classroom pet, Oscar the Otter, for the full experience 🦦✨
And moms… if you have a little boy who acts like washing his hair is actual torture 🙄😂 apparently all you have to do is book an appt.
Because THIS boy hates having his hair washed at home… but sure does love a Head Spa. 😂💆♂️
