🖤 Lash Extensions & Aftercare: Why It Matters 🖤

One of the biggest myths about lash extensions is that they damage your natural lashes. The truth is, properly applied lash extensions do not damage healthy natural lashes—especially when they're paired with good aftercare.

Here are a few simple ways to keep your lashes looking their best:

✨ Wash your lashes at least once a day to remove oils, makeup, pollen, and debris.
✨ Since I use UV-cured adhesive, there's no wait time before getting your lashes wet after your appointment.
✨ Avoid oil-based cleansers, makeup removers, and skincare products around the eyes, as oils can weaken the bond over time.
✨ Skip the mascara—your extensions are designed to give you the look without it, and mascara can cause clumping and premature shedding.
✨ Avoid rubbing or picking at your lashes, and brush them daily with a clean spoolie to keep them neat.

Healthy natural lashes are always my priority. With proper application, regular fills, and good aftercare, you can enjoy beautiful lash extensions while keeping your natural lashes healthy and strong. 🌿✨

I will no longer be using Opal Free products at The Lash Loft.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. This is not the direction I had hoped to go, and it has not been an easy decision.

However, my integrity and morals are extremely important to me, both personally and professionally.

At this point, my morals no longer align with the direction Lash Apothecary(won’t allow me to tag them) has chosen to take, and I cannot continue supporting that direction. Because of that, I feel it is important to make decisions that align with my own values and the standards I want to uphold within my salon.

I have always believed in being transparent with my clients, even when the decisions behind the scenes are difficult. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this transition may cause, and I appreciate your understanding as I navigate this change.

When I'm not doing lashes, I'm a licensed social worker working toward my clinical license. Helping people has always been a passion of mine, whether it's through therapy or helping someone feel confident with a fresh set of lashes.

As I balance both careers, my availability for the next month will be:
