After moving four different times and starting clientele Fresh every single time not knowing anybody, these are the things that I’ve done to get students inside of my classes.
First thing I would do is get on Google and start looking up local beauty schools. Local beauty schools are completely underrated when it comes to educators trying to actually get students in their class.
So what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna call the beauty school or email them and tell them that you want to do a demonstration of whatever service that you wanna teach. You are not gonna charge you’re gonna do it for free and you’re gonna go in there and talk to the students.
I personally taught Lashes so I would bring in stuff for them to actually feel tweezers in their hands and actually touch. Lashes apply Lashes to a sponge and get familiar with having the adhesive and tweezers.
That was a good way for me not only to connect with students, but also the school because they would have me come back every quarter whenever they were getting new students inside of enrollment.
I have done this every single time. I’ve moved to a new state and wanted to get new students so you have to get out of your comfort zone.
You can’t just post and hope that students are actually going to show up. It’s not gonna work that way.
Do you want to position yourself as the authority and that’s what you’re gonna do because you’re gonna put your ass in that school and they are going to totally want to take your class!
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this strategy before.
When I tell you, I was contemplating walking out of my “9 to 5 today that I only work one day a week at“ I was literally contemplating walking out because I had nothing to do for like four hours.
My brain is wired like an entrepreneur not like a corporate. I cannot be in office space and do nothing. I put on my fu***ng phone all day when I could be sending that time actually wasn’t on and in my business making my own money making it for somebody else.
Entrepreneurship is not easy there are days that I want to give up and not even think about promoting my business.
But then I remember I go back to a 9 to 5 every Friday and motivate to get my ass up and start working on my business every single time..
Whoever said entrepreneurship was easy with a fu***ng liar, but I’m here for the ride.
Let me know in the comments how long you’ve been an entrepreneur for and what you do.
Beauty professionals are sleeping on Facebook. Everyone thinks that it’s for old people, but guess what old people actually have money to spend😂
No, but for real, I have built my clientele across the United States multiple times and I have used Facebook groups to gain new clients.
1. You’re going to find local groups around you like groups that are within your city and town and surrounding areas.
2. You’re going to join the groups and you’re gonna start posting in there that you are a artist in your area and you specialize in whatever you specialize in and that you were taking on new clients. We are not discounting here we are promoting ourselves.
3. The more niche down in your area the more likely will be to get local clients. Don’t be so afraid to put yourself out there and promote yourself.
Let me know in the comments if you have ever used Facebook groups, as well as Facebook marketplace???

Let’s be honest..
nobody talks about the slow weeks.
The cancellations. The quiet booking app. The “am I even cut out for this?” moments.
But here’s what I know after years in this industry…
slow periods don’t mean you’re failing.
They mean you have time to actually work ON your business instead of just in it.
Use it. Take the course. Revamp your portfolio. Raise your prices.
The lash artists who make it long-term aren’t the most talented ones…they’re the ones who treat this like a business, not just a skill.
And the right mentor?
Changes everything. Not because they hand you the answers, but because they’ve already made the mistakes you’re about to make!
If you’re done winging it and ready to build something real that’s what the Imperfection Squad is for.
She will be opening up soon.

Pretty content alone doesn’t get you booked. I don’t care how aesthetic your feed is.
If your content isn’t making people understand why they should choose you, they won’t.
You’re over here posting pretty sets, clean brows, flawless injections…
…but you’re not saying anything that builds trust.
Why YOU?
Why should they pay YOUR prices?
Why should they sit in YOUR chair over someone cheaper?
Are you the artist who prioritizes natural lash health?
Are you the injector who actually educates instead of just selling?
Are you the brow artist known for precision and consistency?
Because if you’re not CLEAR about that…Your audience isn’t either.
And confused people don’t book. They scroll.
This is the shift most artists refuse to make, they stay stuck posting pretty instead of positioning themselves as the authority.
That’s exactly what I fix.
If your content isn’t converting into bookings, we have a messaging problem.
DM me “CONTENT” and let’s fix it.
Everybody wants clients…
but your bio doesn’t even tell people where you’re located or how to book.
Make that make sense.
You’re posting, showing your work, trying to stay consistent…but when someone actually lands on your page?
There’s no direction.
No clarity.
No way to convert.
So they leave.
And go book with someone who made it easier.
The industry lied to you a little
“Get certified, post your work, and clients will come.”
Yeah… maybe in 2018.
Now? If your page isn’t set up to convert, you’re just creating content for attention, not income.
No location = no trust
No booking link = no action
No structure = no clients
You don’t have a client problem.
You have a business problem.
And most artists stay stuck here way too long because no one is actually teaching them how to operate like a real business.
That’s exactly why I built Imperfection Squad.
Not just to help you get booked—
but to help you become profitable, structured, and positioned as the authority.
Because busy doesn’t mean successful.
And posting doesn’t mean paid.
If you’re ready to stop guessing and actually build a business that converts—

Being fully booked doesn’t mean you have a successful business.
It just means you’re busy. And most of you are addicted to being busy… instead of being profitable.
Let’s be real for a second....
Fully booked usually means:
You’re undercharging.
You don’t have strong policies.
You’re overworked as hell.
You’re seeing way too many clients a day.
And you’ve built a business that depends entirely on you being in the chair 24/7.
That’s not success. That’s burnout with a cute title.
A real business?
Gives you profit.
Flexibility.
Systems.
Growth.
And the ability to scale without running yourself into the ground.
If you’re fully booked but still stressed, broke, or stuck… that’s your sign something isn’t set up right.
And yeah—this is exactly what I fix.
Inside Imperfection Squad, I teach you how to stop operating like an overworked artist
and start moving like a CEO with structure, pricing power, and actual standards.
Because the goal isn’t to be fully booked. The goal is to be profitable, in control, and operating at a higher level.
If you’re ready to get out of survival mode, DM me “FIX IT” and I’ll get you on the waitlist.

Things that just make sense as a lash artist.
What are the things you love most and cannot lash without?
Let me know in the comments .
Stop discounting your services just because you’re not booked. That’s not strategy… that’s desperation.
And your audience can feel that.
When you lower your prices to “get people in,” you’re not building a loyal clientele..
you’re training people to only value you when you’re cheap.
So what happens?
They book you for the deal…
they expect it every time…and the second you raise your prices, they disappear.
Now you’re stuck, overworked, underpaid, and resentful as hell.
This is exactly why you feel like you’re constantly starting over.
Because you didn’t build demand…
you built dependency on discounts.
High-quality clients don’t come from desperation. They come from authority, trust, and positioning.
And if your content isn’t communicating that?
You will keep attracting the wrong people.
This is the shift we make inside Imperfection Squad and my 1:1 mentoring..
we fix your positioning, your messaging, and how your content actually converts.
So you stop chasing clients…
and start attracting the ones who pay, stay, and respect your work.
If you’re done undercharging and overworking. DM me “LEVEL UP” and let’s fix it.
