Retinol + fresh brows = not a good mix 🤍

If you’re prepping for permanent makeup, it’s important to pause your retinol beforehand. It speeds up your skin’s cell turnover, which can cause the pigment to fade too quickly or heal unevenly.

For the best results, smooth healing, even color, and long-lasting brows…skip retinol at least 10–14 days before your appointment (and during healing).

Your results are only as good as your prep ✨

At 23, I made the decision to pursue my esthetician license, but I quickly realized the traditional treatment room didn’t align with me. I wanted more than just a routine service… I wanted to create an environment that felt authentic, inspiring, and completely my own.

I’ve always been someone who moves with urgency, and I knew I was meant to offer something that delivered instant transformation/results my clients could see and feel the moment they walked out.

But like many journeys, mine wasn’t linear. I had to put my passion on hold and focus on building stability first. Still, the vision never left me.

So in 2019, I took a leap of faith and fully committed to my path in permanent makeup and that’s where everything truly began. & Miss Regina has been with me through it all, god bless her face ❤️

PMU does NOT HURT as much as you might think, as the treatment is preformed with a STRONG topical numbing cream/gel that minimizes discomfort. While it’s not completely painless, most people describe the sensation as a mild scratching, pressure, or the feeling of being plucked and many find it very tolerable, with some even falling asleep!

Everyone has a different level on sensitivity when it comes to pain so topical anesthetics are applied before & during your service to alleviate any sensation and discomfort. On a scale of 1-10, most clients give the first pass a 1-3. After the second topical numbing is applied you feel little to no pain at all 😉❤️

This client came in with existing work from another artist… very faded, but still leaving behind a soft shadow of pigment. In cases like this, a full correction isn’t always necessary.

✨ If the pigment has faded enough✨ If the shape isn’t completely off

…we can often rework and refresh the brows instead of starting over.

The goal is always to work with what’s there (when possible) to create a more refined, balanced, and elevated result 🤎

Thinking about a brow refresh but unsure if you’re a candidate? Send me a photo or book a consult & let’s map out the best plan for you!
