Amri’s Salon Covid-19 Client Protocols:
•
>These are the NEW parameters from the governor, that are now in place in order to get your hair done. Both the client and stylist need to follow these new rules to ensure everyone's safety.
•
>Please wait in your vehicle:
When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you please wait in your vehicle and give us a call at 360-657-4780 to let us know you’re here. If we aren’t quite ready or finished disinfecting we will text/call you back when we are ready for your appointment. Please be patient.
•
Do not wait outside the salon door if you have not been notified that your appointment is ready. Please exercise a 6-foot social distancing between people outside the salon and inside. Please do not ask to come in if your stylist is not available.
•
>Mandatory Pre-Appointment Questions:
1.Have you had a fever?
2.Have you had a cough or sore throat?
3.Have you had shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
4.Have you had body aches, chills or muscle pain?
5.Have you had a NEW loss of taste or smell?
6.Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
7.Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined due to COVID-19?

If you answer yes, to any of these questions your appointment will be canceled and rescheduled.
•
*According to Washington State Board of Cosmetology regulations, both client and stylist are unable to work/perform services on clients who are sickly. If you come to your appointment sick with a cold or flu, we will reschedule your appointment. If our stylist becomes ill and is unable to work, they lose precious time to accommodate clients on their cancellation list and much needed income. Please be considerate and cancel your appointment if you are sick.

>Face Masks:
Both clients and service providers are required to wear a face mask covering to enter the salon AND the entire time in the salon.
•
>Wash Your Hands:
Clients will be required upon entry, to go directly to the restroom to scrub their hands thoroughly for a minimum of 20 seconds before services will be performed.
•
>Occupancy:
No additional guests will be permitted. Please come alone to your appointments. Only one person is allowed to attend a service at a time, unless the client needs a caregiver. Clients should make arrangements for childcare if possible.
•
>No Outside Food or Drinks are Permitted:
We know clients love to stop for coffee before their appointments, but please DO NOT bring outside food or drinks into the salon for appointments (Bottled water is allowed). Unfortunately, Amri’s Salon is unable to offer coffee/water during this time.
•
>Electronics:
If you plan on using your phone during your appointment, please disinfect it before you wash your hands.
•
>Shampoo Bowl:
Per new requirements, while at the shampoo bowl, clients face will be covered with a towel for protection. If you are uncomfortable with this, please speak with us before your appointment.

We will also be implementing an fee for the extra time and supplies we need during this time.

Ok everyone. We are officially in phase 2! I know everyone is very excited to get in and we are excited to see you all again! But I ask for your patience... there are a lot of new rules and regulations in effect that make things difficult and we want to make sure we are following them and able to keep everyone safe and healthy. We will be calling clients to rebook and we will be doing that in order of our first clients we had to cancel on! We are going to try to be as fair as we can with our rebooking so if we can’t get you in right away, just know that we will get to you! We appreciate all the love and support and look forward to seeing you!

It has been a rough one for us with all the uncertainty about when we will be able to return to work but we know we are fortunate to have such amazing people surrounding us! To our dearest clients-
First, I would like to say thank you for your full cooperation with our screening prior to appointments to ensure we are all able to stay healthy during this time. Now, we would like to ask that when coming in for appointments for only the person/people with scheduled appointments to come to the salon. This way we can practice some level of social distancing while being able to remain open. As always, if you are uncomfortable leaving your house at this time we encourage you to always make the best choice for yourself and we are happy to reschedule to a later date. We have been doing our part to clean and disinfect all surfaces and we continue to ask if you are sick or have possibly been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 to please reschedule so we are able to remain open to service our community.

Due to concerns over recent findings of coronavirus (and really any illness) in Marysville, we respectfully ask that you reschedule any appointments you have at Amri’s Salon if you are sick/showing signs of sickness or have been in contact with anyone that is sick.
