HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🏳️‍🌈

I don’t get to do full rainbows quite often enough, and I typically do not offer extensions. However, I will make the occasional exception for my loyals, and what better time to break my own rule than during Pride Month? Plus, Pride Month is a great reminder to celebrate individuality, self-expression, and a little extra color. 🌈

Went to my bestie’s salon today and spent the day with her giving her this gorgeous new color! It’s been so long since we did her hair last that I can’t even remember what I did to it last time 😅🫣 anyway, she picked out the colors and formulated them herself, but we brainstormed together on the placement and decided the jawbreaker technique was the way and we couldn’t be happier with the results 😍 scroll over to see it styled a couple different ways and swipe further if you want to see the steps in backwards order 🩷💜💛💙

This client came in exactly a year ago and we did a full bleach out and little baby shadow root to blend as it grew (of course I forgot to snap a before pic) so one year later, she had several inches of her natural level 5/6 and the ends were solid blonde. Today, we decided to go for a lower maintenance version of that since she is in college a couple hours away! I did manage to snap a picture of the raw lift after after I removed all 7392 foils 😝 then I followed it with a wet root shadow and toner melted into each other for a seamless blend 😍 I love doing it this way for low maintenance looks because as it grows, the root shadow will also fade and it will still look something like this several months down the road 💕

Hey there! Yes, I do still do hair 😝 anyways, this is my before and after from today. I got to spend about 7.5 hours with one of my faves! I love a project from time to time! We started with Malibu color disruptor and CPR, a gentle lightening session, and finished it off with our final color. I would like to thank and for having the tools I needed to help me make this magic happen 🧡❤️

Did some hand painted highlights using funky film on Liz to brighten her up and kick some of that gold! I love a good balayage sesh 🖤

New hair for Kenzie!! This time, she knew exactly what she wanted. This was her creative freedom, and I feel so honored that she chooses me to bring her vision to life 🤍 I’m a bit older than Kenzie, so when she started presenting the c**n tail idea to me, my first thought was the MySpace scene queens from 20 years ago. I won’t lie, wasn’t sure about it 😂 I don’t know what I was thinking though, because Kenzie can do absolutely anything to her hair and it will always look good, because it’s Kenzie. Magically, I now have a renewed taste for some c**n tails! Bring on the stripes 🥰

Would you believe me if I said this was just a quick top foil and toner refresh?! Last time we did a full highlight and played around with some warmth, this time we wanted to ice it up but her highlights still looked so perfect, so we just added a few more on top and toned the rest. Sometimes less is more 💕 I’m loving the winter wonderland vibe ❄️

I also want to take a quick second to talk about my express menu, as I don’t think I’ve ever touched on it. I’ve got a handful of quick/lower cost color services. If you’ve ever thought:
• I want to color my hair but I’m afraid of the cost/commitment
• I don’t like getting my hair done because it takes hours
• I need a refresh but a full color is not in the budget right now

Talk to me! I am willing to work with you and help you find something that works for you and your budget/time. A lot of my work is very detail oriented and does take hours, but I have some quicker, more affordable options as well! Don’t be afraid to ask 😊

Long time no post! Anyone else excited for the fall weather?! Flannels, pumpkin spice, candles, the COLORS?? I got free rein (within reason of course) for this one and I am loving the mix of the subtle vivids and dark brown! Also, I will be going back to working a few Saturdays again! The novelty of having every weekend off for the first time in my working life has finally worn off. I get kinda bored 😂
