Sunscreen is not a permanent force field. 🧴 It can wear down, rub off, sweat off, and disappear throughout the day as you touch your face, blot oil, walk the dog, sit outside, or run errands.

The general rule is to reapply every 2 hours when outdoors, and more often if you’re sweating or swimming.

Do you remember to reapply sunscreen during the day?

SPF roll call. 🧴

Don’t forget your ears, eyelids, around the eyes, neck, chest, back of the hands, lips, hairline, and scalp.

These areas get more sun exposure than you think, especially from daily life: driving, errands, walks, sitting by a window, or being outside for “just a few minutes.”

Save this before tomorrow’s SPF. ☀️

The classic question: “How do I reapply sunscreen over makeup?” 😅

Here’s the hierarchy:
Best: another layer of sunscreen lotion or cream.
Helpful: sunscreen sticks over the nose, cheekbones, and high points.
Backup: SPF powders or setting sprays.

But remember: a tiny mist is not the same as a full sunscreen application. If you use spray or powder, be generous. 🧴

Save this before your next makeup day.

We get it. SPF in makeup feels like the perfect multitasker. Foundation + sun protection? Dreamy. 😅

But here’s the issue: to get the SPF listed on the bottle, you’d usually need way more foundation than most people actually apply.

Think of SPF makeup like a cardigan in January. Helpful, but still… where’s the coat? 🧴

Save this before your next makeup routine.

Most people apply too little sunscreen. For your face and neck, the 2-finger rule gives you a better visual: two full lines of sunscreen on your index and middle fingers. 🧴 Save this before your next SPF application.

For facial acne, stronger is not always smarter. Many people start better in the 2.5–5% range, while 10% may be more appropriate for thicker skin areas like the chest or back unless your provider recommends otherwise.
