Friends and Patrons: King O’ Kuts Barbershop is officially closed for business as of today….

The day has finally come for this rare husband + wife team to hang up their scissors and retire. While Kim retired a while ago due to medical reasons, John’s last day was today, on his terms and when he wanted to walk away. From politicians, to professional athletes, to business leaders, to thousands of local patrons, since 1979 John and Kim kept Mason and the surrounding area looking their best. Now, it’s time to downsize, make more time for fun with their grandson and kids, more sun, warmer weather, and more of whatever they want to do in retirement in Texas. Thank you to all of our customers, patrons, friends made over the years and the continued friendships going forward. Stay in touch!

We hope that everyone is staying healthy and safe during this challenging time. As you know, salons and barbershops were ordered to close around March 18th by our Governor Mike DeWine. This type of order makes it very challenging for a small business like ours to keep the bills paid with no revenue coming in but we understand it is the right thing to do for our community. So, we look forward to seeing all of you at your next appointment as soon as the order is lifted and we can get your hair back in top shape!

We will post any updates we get on the status of reopening our doors. Until then, be safe and try to stay healthy!
