Olsen is ONE!!! We packed this month full of fun, including his first Easter, first reds game, first time to the zoo, first big road trip, first time to New York and meeting family (including his namesake!), first wedding, and his first haircut 🥹 happy FIRST birthday to our precious angel baby. Your mom & mama love you SO VERY much 😘😭

Eleven months with our favorite little dude. He is soooooo close to walking, has 2 new teeth (with at least 2 more coming soon 😅), and he loves music! We celebrated lots of birthdays this month, and now we’re preparing for Olsen’s first 🥲 we love making memories as a family and are excited for spring! Go Reds!

Olsen is TEN months old & is so close to walking! He had his first Valentine’s Day, first swim lesson, and his first annual cousin sleepover. He is loved by so many and we are thankful for him everyday!

9 months! First time to Yellow Springs, riding in his first Ford 😉, pulling to stand up, signing “more” and “all done,” an thinks being upside down is hilarious. The world is heavy but we are so grateful to play and laugh with the sweetest baby 🖤

2016… I was in hair school, working a corporate job, working weddings on the weekends… I bought my first house, graduated hair school, starting taking clients in my kitchen, and ended the year with a screenshot of motivation. I didn’t know that 2017 would bring me back to Skyline where I met Britt, and I certainly couldn’t see how beautiful life would be in 2026. The world is heavy, and the future is unknown, but I am proud of who I am because I fought to become her 🖤✨

We got tickets months ago to see and in the 100th season of , and I was telling everyyyone how excited I was to go! When Olsen tested positive for the flu, we just decided to try again next year. Much to my surprise, Britt cashed in on SkyMiles and got me a flight so I could still see the show 🥹 I am overly grateful to her for making me go, as it was truly an experience of a lifetime! The show was incredible and funny (who knew?!) and I was able to see a few family members, for which I am also super thankful. Happy New Year to all - may 2026 be filled with health and joy (and great surprises!) 🖤✨

Olsen is 8 months old today, and we have had soooo many fun firsts with him this month! He experienced his first time in a movie theatre (loved it), first time watching a live performance (LOVED IT), first Christmases, first time meeting Santa (😹), and unfortunately, his first fever 😫 We hoped to have a first road trip as a family this weekend to visit family and NYC but the flu cancelled those plans. We look forward to a time when we can travel safely and in full health! 🖤

Being first-time moms on Christmas is nothing short of pure magic ✨ Merry Christmas from the Highfills 🥰

Olsen has a TOOTH 🦷, he LOVES food (no one is shocked!), and his personality is more vibrant everyday. Seven months feels so surreal, especially when we put him to bed in a 12-month sleeper tonight! 😝
