Last minute cancelation for this Friday! A full hour and a half ,or 3 separate half-hour slots are available. Things are booked in to the middle of September, with very limited open time slots. Where does time go? Today marks the 4th anniversary of my location at 22 Hospital Drive! Thank you all ,for your ongoing support. It's because of you , that I love my job!

It's moments like this that make your work all worth while. All of these unexpected, appreciative texts, phone calls, kind words, and special moments keep me alive and fired up to keep doing what I love. Thank you Marybeth, for these beautiful flowers. It was so kind and thoughtful of you.

Another year has passed. It was three years yesterday that I opened the doors to the new Trendsetters location on Hospital Drive, and I can't be any happier, still. It has truly been the change I needed in my career. Thanks to all of you that encouraged me to take the plunge , and also to those that have supported me throughout my 35 years in the business. I couldn't be where I am today without you all. Happy Anniversary, Trendsetters!! Here's to another rewarding year full of happy clients, a beautiful salon, lots of hard work, continued education ,and lots of smiles when you see your finished look.

Corona Virus update:

Exciting news!! I am open again! For those of you that don't know, the green light happened this past Friday at 1pm. What an exhausting 24 hours that was, sitting on pins and needles wondering what that outcome was going to be and how much longer it would take to get us in to phase two.

A lot has changed, so I am asking for everyone to be patient and kind in these unprecedented times that we all are going through. It is going to be a very different world in all of our shops around the country. My main concern is and always be to keep you safe, along with myself. The studio is well stocked with all the sanitary needs to keep things clean and sanitized in between each client.

A couple of new policies that you should know about:
There will only be one client allowed in the shop at a time. Please do not arrive with guests, and please do not arrive more than five minutes early,{ but obviously on time.} Come to the door to see if I am ready for you. If I am not, you are welcome to return to your car and I will wave you in or call you. You are also welcome to wait outside on the porch. If the weather if bad, you may come in { a few minutes early} and stay at least 6 feet away from anyone that remains in the waiting area. Social distancing is mandated by the State for the time being and all clients will be expected to follow the same policies that we have all learned to live with.
If your are bringing in a child for a hair cut, one parent will be allowed to remain in the waiting area. This is also applicable to anyone who has special needs and has a caregiver. The caregiver will be allowed to be as close as the person needs them to be. Please do not call to see if am ready. In the first couple of weeks, I will be letting the answering machine take all messages because of the high volume of calls. I will return all messages on the evening of the day that you call. Please leave a detailed message and don't forget to leave your number.

Clients will be expected to wear a mask at all times. If you feel more comfortable washing your own hair before you come, by all means, do so. If you are coming in for a color, please do not do that. I have washable masks for those of you that will need one.

A couple of more details: There will be some very strict guidelines in order to be serviced in the salon. I will need your utmost honesty when it comes to your health on the day of your appointment. If you should have any of these symptoms or knowingly have been around anyone with them, you will need to cancel and reschedule. All cancellation fees will be waived during these time. Symptoms include any and all sickness, but especially include, fever, headache, new loss of smell/taste, and coughing. In this allergy season of ours, coughing is going to be the trickiest symptom and the one symptom that we can't clearly know if it is allergies or something more. Even if you suspect that it is allergies, I ask that you reschedule your appointment for another day. It is the only way to know for sure that I can keep the salon safe for everyone who enters.

It may seem like a lot, but we can make it happen. We are strong and we have all adapted quite well. I am so looking forward to seeing all of you again. It's been way too long!
