This head of hair!! Right!?!?

It is gorgeous and I got to cut it!!

That’s right, me!!

This sweet lady came to me for the first time for a cut to get rid of a few inches of dead hair.

To her surprise I needed to take less of the length then she expected.
By adding layers to the interior of the cut I got rid of the dead stuff without a substantial amount of length.
The layers also took off some weight and boy did that make all the difference!

Her hair just came to life!!

When it is time for a change I say go for it!!

This beauty did exactly that!!

It was such fun to do this transformation, especially seeing the smile on her face when it was done!

This wonderful lady came in with a full head of pure white hair wanting some dimension.

Lowlights to the rescue!!!🛟

I added very tiny lowlights in a deep ash grey that added just enough to make it look so natural that I don’t think you will be able to tell that it’s not her natural hair color!

I really love doing transformations like this!!

Blended her dark hair by going a bit lighter, pulled it through the highlights in the back to tone them down and blend better and did a semi permanent on the grey in the hairline to look like highlights!!

What a great transformation this was!!!

I meant to do this post when I got here this morning but it has been a crazy day so it’s a bit late but still a great celebration!!

5 years ago today I moved into my current salon space and thanks to all of you it has been the best move I have ever made!!

Deepened highlights to stretch out maintenance time between appointments tones down the impact of the highlights but doesn’t tone down the effect of the lighter color in the depth of her beautiful hair!
