The first product photo was taken on a phone, propped against a stack of books, with whatever daylight happened to be coming through the window that afternoon. It did the job, technically. The photos today take longer, involve more props than anyone would guess, and get taken from five angles before one finally feels right, but that first quick photo still holds a certain charm.
