Bye bye carpal tunnel! For once I’m going to be a woman of few words but as an update-

Everything went well. I’m still numb in both hands as everything wears off but I can still be *mostly* independent.

Best part is my surgeon even autographed my hand 🤣

-Yes she promised (herself, not me) that she’s done with box color and experimenting

-No I will never shame you for using box color (I’ll educate you on it though)

-No I will not lie to you if I don’t think I can give you the result you want. Why have the color of your dreams if it’s fried, ya know?

-No you don’t “have” to come back until you’re ready. If twice a year works then I’ll see you in 6 months friend!

Cole and I decided to stay in and do a date night yesterday for Valentine’s Day, yes, a day late because I worked all day Saturday and then we headed straight to a Walleye game.

Anywho, once we got done with charcuterie we moved on to painting each other. This dollar store activity did not disappoint 😂

I highly encourage you to do it whether if it’s with your kids or partner, we laughed so hard and had a blast!

Unfortunately we’re ringing in the new year with the stomach flu 😅 so far I’m safe and here hoping it stays that way!

Last year we got a new tree that has multiple light color choices and I change it depending on my mood…..so it changes every day🤪

On Monday, I had a chance to help out at Penta for Career night. This is an annually hosted event geared towards new students so they can explore any program they’re interested in.

Not only did we have great turn out and a lot of interest but I got to tell my story to some new students about how much Penta changed my life. Currently the cosmetology program has 90 applicants and they accept 50 so that’s a wonderful amount of interest. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I’m so excited for these students going into/interested in the program and hope that it changes their life like it did mine!

Also got to catch up with the instructors, one of which taught me and one I used to work with 15 years ago!

Forever thankful for these turkeys 🦃

This thanksgiving looks a little different this year without our Lola Bean but we’re still thankful for Pickles (and two kitties, who am I?!)

First time highlight= natural & subtle

In my opinion, if you’re wanting your daughter to have her hair highlighted for the first time, staying on the more natural side is ideal.

Naturally, most kids are more attracted to the brighter, bolder looks but realistically maintenance shouldn’t be something to worry about.

Myla couldn’t have been happier (can’t you tell 🥰) with her subtle highlights and so was her mom!
