These colors typically last up to 4 weeks so if you change your mind or need your blonde back for any reason you don’t have to worry about being stuck with a pastel hair color!

This is also a fun way to change it up with out ruining any of your blonde hair you works so hard for!

Going Blonde is a big TRUST the process, moment!

3 outcomes to expect when going light, especially if you have previously colored your hair!

•depending how dark your hair and how it lifts more then likely you won’t get your desired blonde in 1 sitting
(Lightening hair takes time and patience)

•expect at LEAST a 3 hour appointment each time
(Along with time and patience it takes a lot of thinking along with strategy for us as stylist to make sure your hair will be lifted as even as possible and has the best transition from root to ends)

•be okay with awkward in between stages
(Your hair will more then likely lift orangey red, orange, or very very yellow. All these scary color will be toned down sometimes darker then we wanted with a glaze BUT these Demi permanent colors do fade after so long which is ideal because it won’t effect our lifting in the future but the dreaded colors will come back after some time so you’ll have to be okay with the hair stages we are put through)

Sometimes the best thing for a blonde is to add a low light! A low light can trick your eye into thinking the blonde is brighter then it really is or make your bright blonde appear even blonder! Low lights also help with dimension which also helps blondes look bright because it give a “backdrop” to let the highlight take the spot light!

A root smudge, wet root, or root tap are the same technique but different terms! This is when your natural level hair color or lighter is applied with a Demi Permanent color on wet hair! This little trick will help with your grow out not being such a harsh transition from natural hair to highlights like most highlight clients tend to see!

A peak a boo of color is when we just take a couple pieces of hair to add a fun pop of color without having too much and being able to keep the over all look of the hair you desire!

She wanted to deepen her all over color and add Warm Caramel highlights to add dimension with out a high maintenance up keep! During consultations I will always ask how often you will want to be coming in!

Balayage= slower visible grow out
Traditional highlights= faster visible grow out

Balayage or other low maintenance clients I recommend an appointment every 3-4 months (some can/choose to go longer) by this time you will normally see a noticeable grow out while also keeping up on regular hair cuts and making sure you have proper products to keep your hair the best during our months apart!
