Here is what I did:
— Lowered the level intentionally to rebalance warmth
— Selected a controlled neutral, warm tone rather than defaulting to ash and canceling everything out.

Launching my career over 16 years ago (!!!) and being trained by some of the leading industry standards, I’ve weaved my way through color, foils, extensions, and haircuts.
With the many high & lows that come with this fast faced industry and chasing my health & well being in the process, I found something more. I found mindful living. Quality of health. Experiencing first hand how ingredients effect our internal well being. And realizing how much these things mattered to me.

If there is one thing I’ve learned throughout my years of working behind the chair —
It’s that some of the longest and most meaningful relationships happen in the chair.
For clients, it’s a way to escape their fast paced life to a safe environment where you are able to share your thoughts, feelings, ideas, and memories.
It’s an environment where you express some of your deepest feelings and just want to be heard. You know that my space is a safe place, and that whatever we talk about — stays there.

Installed 22’ K-tip extensions to create this beautiful mermaid hair! This method is for someone who desires minimal up-keep and gets the maximum longevity out of extensions!

This particular client was referred to me for some major hair love! Since the pandemic, she has been coloring her own hair at home and many times switching different color brands. Unfortunately this led to different banding and not covering areas evenly.
Together we figured out a plan that would make sense for her lifestyle.
This is what we came up with:
— Warm coppery-brown with dimensional lighter pieces
— Evening out her base color so she only needs to come in for her retouch every 6 weeks
— A fresh hair chop to even out those ends (since her sister cut it twice for her during this time 😅)
A total of 4 hours, we were able to create a beautiful color that would complimented her natural skin tone and something she will be able to keep up with long term ✨

YES, you can lift out black box colour BUT keep these things in mind…
➡️ be realistic about your results
➡️ you will experience a warm phase
➡️ it may require multiple sessions to get where you want to be
Removing permanent black box colour requires patience. Believe it or not, it can stay in the hair for YEARS and it’s the hardest thing to pull out due to its reaction to professional products. The best way to start the process of going lighter is taking it slow and focusing on keeping the integrity of hair healthy and strong!
And just understand that everyone’s hair is different. For some it requires 2 sessions and for others it may take 5.
But…
