Magnolia House, LLC

We celebrated our massage therapy school application landing in Frankfort by neatening up a place for quiet time, demonstrations and hands on and some of the resources. We love a work in progress.
Happy Friday, lovelies and thank you all so much for the support, likes, comments, and messages.

Hello, happy Friday, and Happy October to our Lovelies!

It’s time to talk about what we’ve been working on behind the scenes: the next stage of our growth.
It seems unreal to think that December 2016 was the establishment of our corporation. To celebrate ten years of Magnolia House (ad)ventures, we thought we might open that massage school we’ve been daydreaming about for a little while now!

The Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education has granted us conditional licensure and our application to the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Massage Therapy has been submitted. It’s highly doubtful we will make the October meeting but that gives us a chance for November. After that approval, the KCPE grants us full licensure and we can enroll students.

In the meantime, we have a page Magnolia House School of Massage and we will put some more information on our website to start answering questions. Please feel free to message or email. We anticipate enrolling after the holidays, perhaps mid-January of 2027.

Pardon the mess, too; we’re getting our classroom/study area/practical area ready!

This client got a dermaplane facial. Dermaplaning is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells that lay on our faces. It is a very gentle method of exfoliation.

MISSING: ONE VERY IMPORTANT MEMBER OF OUR THEATRE FAMILY 🚨

Our Jiffy Steamer J-4000 has apparently decided to take an unauthorized leave of absence from the theatre.

And we need her HOME. Costumes need steaming. Curtains need steaming.
Wrinkles are multiplying.

This steamer is less than a year old and valued at $310, so she’s not quite ready to retire or begin a new life on the road. 😂

If you borrowed it, moved it, took it home to use, or know where it may have wandered off to, PLEASE bring it back to the theatre ASAP! No interrogation. No public shaming. We just want our steamer back.

Please share so we can reunite this hardworking little appliance with the costumes and curtains that desperately need her.

Lovelies, tonight’s yoga class has been moved to tomorrow night. Same time, 5:30 but the doors open around 5:15.
