STYLISTS: How do you approach color corrections? @abigailbazzoli shows how box color can look when trying to lift the hair: "I know itā€™s fun to play hairdresser at home and costs way way less than going to the salon. I get it. I did it too when I was 17. I also wrecked my hair later trying to get the blackest black out of my hair. Iā€™ll never shame anyone who colors at home. I donā€™t know their finances or their experiences in the salon. Maybe that box was the one thing they can use to feel better about their hair. It is what it is. As professionals, we know itā€™s a fighter coming out, so a test strand is a must. It serves as a preview for their entire appointment!" 05/29/2024
