June 1st came in swinging! 😅
Between switching electric companies, permit issues, and being without power all day, AEP has officially tested my patience. I've sent the same electrical permit what feels like 60 times, and now I'm being told it could still take 24–48 hours to get my power back on.

This morning was truly heartbreaking. I found a little Shih Tzu lying on the street near MCHI, and I couldn’t just leave him there. He was taken to Mission Vet Hospital and given a thorough exam, including oxygen support. The vet told me he was about 8 or 9 years old, with no broken bones but a few bite marks, and he was having seizures due to neurological issues. He wasn’t responding to anything. Even if surgery, he showed no signs of life on his own—he was beaten, shaken, and seemed not all there anymore. It’s so sad to see such pain in a little creature. I just wanted to help ease his suffering, so I decided on euthanasia. I cried, even though he wasn’t my dog. I took a picture in case anyone knows his owners. I will be getting his ashes and a clay impression of his paws. Everything has been paid for; I just wanted to give him peace if anyone is looking for him.
