I tattooed myself today! A year has passed by since I’ve moved to Texas. Within that time, i’ve explored, learned, fell in love, found new music, made new connections, and made so many memories along the way. I think that no matter which direction life takes us (or even sometimes throws us), it’s important to never forget where you come from. As I look forward to the life I continue to build here, I know that home will always be home.. with the good and the bad. A little detail I included was the buckeye leaf at the top left — Ohio’s state tree since 1953. The florals are inspired by Angelo Parante. And lastly, I chose an envelope/letter design because for my going away party, my close friends and family left me notes for me to read when I’m missing home. ❤️‍🩹
