My girls are at work with us A LOT… because, well, it’s our business. 😂
They have their little chores, they help here and there, and sometimes they just watch us do what we do.
This past Saturday, I was setting up for my client with worship music playing, and without even thinking about it, I started singing, praising and worshipping Jesus right there in my business. 🙌🏼
My oldest was watching me and gave me this LOOK. 😂
You know that look that says… “Mom… people can see you.”
And I told her, “I don’t care if anybody sees me. Actually, I hope they do. I’m not embarrassed to worship Jesus in my business.”
And then it hit me…
She was watching too. ❤️
Little eyes are always watching.
They’re watching how I work.
How I treat people.
How I handle hard days.
How I run my business.
And most importantly, who I give the glory to.
I know I won’t always get everything right as a mom, but if my girls grow up knowing that there is never a wrong place to praise Jesus, then I know I taught them something that matters.
I want them to see a mom who works hard, chases her dreams, loves people, and is never too embarrassed or too busy to stop and give God the glory.
Because ultimately, that’s my objective in life:
That the little eyes watching me see Jesus through me. 🤍🙏🏼

Hi Beauties 👋🏽
Its been a min since I last introduced myself!!
So here's my story (its a long one to fit in the caption so here's a summary lol)
I’ve been in the beauty industry since I was 19… which was, well, MANY years ago 😂 But really, it started long before that.
As a little girl, I watched my grandma work her magic with her clients, and without realizing it, she planted a seed in me. I later attended her beauty school in Reynosa and UCAS in McAllen, becoming a licensed cosmetologist.
For years, beauty remained my side hustle because I had the “good job”—an 8–5, benefits, retirement, stability…and FEAR.
Then, almost accidentally, I discovered permanent makeup. A job opportunity didn’t work out as expected—let’s just say that when they wanted us to work for free, the unemployment office employee in me left QUICK 😂✌️ But I’ll always be grateful because that experience introduced me to PMU.
I invested in advanced training and began building my clientele in 2016 while keeping my corporate job. I promised myself that once beauty matched my paycheck, I would finally quit—and it happened faster than I expected. 🥹
Beauty by Ana K was born inside a tiny 10x10 suite. Nothing fancy—just me, my clients, and a dream I was finally brave enough to chase.
As I became busier, I trained my sister, and soon that little room couldn’t hold us anymore. That’s when Beauty Arte Ink was established. 🖤
From watching my grandma behind the chair, to cosmetology, corporate life, PMU, and a 10x10 room—we’re still here. Evolving. Transitioning. Surviving lol iykyk giirrrl
