BÜB-Beauty Under Baldness

The St. Patrick’s Day initiative was a HUGE success! I have heard how adorable the BüBs are on multiple occasions! I have heard how we could sell them, and I completely underestimated how popular they would be around the Notre Dame offices!☘️ This would not be possible without all of you crocheting, knitting, donating yarn and sharing this information with your friends.
When this started, I was an army of one with a goal of 100 BũBs. To date, we have donated close to 750 hats and headbands. Sorry I lost count. Today we are a small team of people who continue to pour out love in the form of hats and headbands for patients suffering from hair loss due to medical interventions. Thank you!!

The next initiative will be a Quarter 4 Campaign. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: November is for male cancer awareness: December is Christmas. Please make whatever your heart desires. Every little BũB makes a difference!

March begins tomorrow and Monday begins the distribution of BüBs from our recent initiative! We currently have 146 BüBs for distribution for our St. Patrick’s Day campaign! What better way to pass a snow day than to make hats & headbands!!

As we move into the New Year, I want to thank everyone who supports and contributes to this cause. BüB began in 2024 as a way to give freely to those suffering from hair loss due to medical interventions. Our goal was 100 BÜBs. Today, we are inching toward 700 Beauty Under Baldness hats and headbands, aka BÜBs, that will be lovingly shared with those in need! This wouldn’t be possible without your help . Thank you and Happy New Year!

It is Movember, an annual event that involves growing a mustache to raise awareness for men’s health issues, including prostate and testicular cancers, among others. I don’t know that growing a mustache is advisable if you are s woman, but I think it is a fantastic idea for men! I am still distributing BüBs thanks to your donations!
Looking ahead, it would be great to support St. Patrick’s Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Movember. Our initiative is gaining momentum to help those battling hair loss due to medical interventions. Please spread to word. There will always be a need, and no donation is too small. 💙 💙
