I've talked a lot about changes coming soon - the biggest is a move to "Direct Primary Care". What exactly is that though? Why would I want to talk with someone about it? Or consider it for myself/family? Put most simply, it's literally direct. Direct access to your provider. Dedicated, distraction free appt times - if we're scheduled for 30 min, that's your 30 min to talk about whatever medical questions or concerns you might have. For me, it's the intent to be a PARTNER who LISTENS first and foremost. The easiest way to think about it is almost as a subscription - and with levels that can be customized to *YOU*. Find those back to school germs but still need to work? Quick visits and tele-health to the rescue. Healthy and rarely need an appt? No need to lock in - we can do one time visits with no commitment (did you know most medical offices don't consider you an established patient if it's been 3 yrs sinve they saw you? or that they track it TO THE DAY??). Have long term, but well controlled issues? We can set up recurring appts to keep us both on track. Unpredictable stuff in your life? Oooohhhh!!! Look at those new graphics - I really love the first one. It feels strong but a little subtle. All three definitely help move us forward in this Direct Primary Care direction. What's YOUR favorite?
