The 24 inches are what you notice first.

But the real work was customizing the install around the hair she actually had.

Shorter areas. Less natural length to work with. Extra-small knots. Strategic placement.

That’s why I don’t believe in one standard Brazilian Knots install.

Your starting point matters.

If you’ve been told your hair is too short for extensions, a proper assessment can tell you what’s actually possible.

Thin hair doesn’t mean you have to choose between length, volume, and wearing your natural texture.

For this install, the goal was simple: give her the fullness and length she wanted while keeping the finished look as natural as possible.

The texture match is what makes this one so special. We used water and mousse to blend them together.

She can wear her hair straight, but she can also wash and go and let her natural texture blend right into the extensions.

That is the difference between simply adding hair and creating an extension install around the client in front of me.

Your starting point matters. Your texture matters. And the way the extensions are customized matters.

The difference is in the details.

One of the things I’m particular about when creating Brazilian Knots is the size of the knot.

Extra-small knots allow me to create a more discreet, refined finish while maintaining the integrity of the installation.

It’s not just about knowing how to tie a knot. It’s understanding how the size, placement, spacing and technique affect the final result.
