Family Tree Massage and Wellness, JJ Novak, LMT

🤣

For this reason and this reason only…obviously

❤️

My journey in my career as a Massage Therapist began 22 years ago today, when I graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy.

I am so proud to have become a dinosaur in a profession where the average career length is only 5-8 years!

I had no idea where this journey would take me, but having found out I was pregnant with our oldest just a week before beginning school and graduating while pregnant with our youngest, I maybe should have taken that as a sign that my practice would eventually be geared to moms and those who want to become them!

After many years working as a Licensed Massage Therapist in a variety of settings-a Health Club, Wellness Center, and Chiropractor’s Office, in 2019, I opened my private practice, Family Tree Massage and Wellness.

My practice has been such a blessing, where I have grown my business to serve
❤️ those experiencing fertility challenges through the use of Fertility Massage,
❤️ those that are pregnant or have recently given birth through the use of Pregnancy Massage, and
❤️ to those that incorporate Therapeutic Massage into their healthy lifestyle.

In 2021, the beginning of March led me to my very own space for Family Tree Massage and Wellness. It’s hard to believe I’ve already been in my current space for 5 years already. It’s exciting to watch my space and my practice evolve as time goes on.

Thank you to all my friends, family, and clients that have helped me grow into the Massage Therapist that I am today.

I am so thankful for my AMAZING clients, wherever they’re at on their family tree, that have embraced my practice. I am so blessed to have the best clients around. ❤️

I look forward to seeing your smiling face soon for your next massage session! ❤️

Sad, but true.

Side note-both songs are so great! 🎶

Indeed!

Exactly. 👍

Is your life feeling chaotic?

Are you feeling too busy?

That's the very time that you must find a few minutes to slow down and relax.

Take a bit of time to rest in child's pose, enjoy the gentle twist of triangle pose, or breathe with your legs up the wall.

Just rest and be 💜

So similar! 🤣

I get it 💅🏻🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂

During a session recently, I looked over at the (battery operated) candles and thought “those look much more dim than I remember them being.”

After replacing the batteries, they were back to shining brightly.

I didn’t realize that as the batteries ran out, that the candles would still work, just not as vibrantly as they previously did.

That’s how it often is with us as well.

We get a little ache or pain, which gets worse and worse unless or until we address it.

Thankfully, we can recharge our batteries with massage, so we can shine brightly once again!

Do you hear the theme song as you read the graphic? 🎶

🤣

Today, I had the huge honor to learn Intraoral Techniques for TMJ and Headache Relief with these lovely ladies, presented by Sacred Spirit Bodyworks. As you can see by the pics, it was all VERY SERIOUS and NO FUN at all. 🤣🤣🤣 Such great techniques to add to my sessions!
