Just a few things!!!

I want to address the phone issue at my shop...IT RINGS AND RINGS AND RINGS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just want to explain why......I DO NOT answer the phone when I have a client in the chair. Period. Fortunately and unfortunately, I always have a client in my chair. 99.999999 % of the calls I get are "what are your hours?", "can you fade?", "are you open today?", "do you take walk-ins?", "how much for a cut?", "I'd like to make an appointment", etc etc etc....
FOR ALL NEW AND CURRWNT CLIENTS:
All of these questions can be answered without constantly calling the shop. I set up my business in a specific way, ensuring that all potential clients dont have to waste a minute of their time. I respect your time!!! Which is why my website can answer ALL of your questions!!!
1. www.cyncitycutz.com has a short bio of myself and my shop as well as pics of my work.
2. www.cyncitycutz.com has a "book now" option. It takes you directly to my schedule, availability and my hours!
3. I do not make appointments over the phone. You need to book your own.
4. I can only take walk-ins when I have gaps in my schedule, however, those gaps are getting smaller and smaller.
5. I let go of my last barber. I am the ONLY barber here and I am one person. I wish I could, but aint enough hours in the day to cut EVERYONE. I appreciate anyone who wants a cut by me, but you have to book to get in my schedule. Walk-in only shops are a thing of the past. Nobody wants to wait 3 to 4 hours for a damn cut. So I made it easier to make appts based on your time.
6. Every time I dont abide by my own rules and book someone thats a new client, I always get screwed. Meaning, when they dont show for their appt I dont get paid because I made the appt instead of the client making it with their card. That ensures that I get paid for my time, even when the client doesn't show up for their own appt. Its a vicious cycle, but these No-shows gotta stop. Requiring appts helps stop that.

I appreciate everyone that has ever been to my shop, and hopefully I can reach those who haven't had the experience yet!

Business announcement:

No-shows will be blocked from ever being able to book me, online or otherwise. I run a business and some people like to play with my time. If you're a regular client, I dont see how you dont know. If you're a new client, no worries, I'll allow you to get acclimated to how I run my shop. Its very simple. You guys make your appointments, not me. I am here 6 days a week, which isn't for the weak. If you book an appointment at 2pm, logically I'm going to expect you at 2pm. If there's traffic or an accident, I'd appreciate a call to let me know you're running behind. However, if you make an appointment for 2p and I dont get a call or text, I'm going to assume there's nothing holding you back from getting here on time. I wait 5 minutes guys. Honestly, for a 30 min appt, how long should I wait for you to pull up? Its only a 30 min slot, soooooo 5 min? 10 min? 15 min? NOPE! I WAIT 5 MINUTES! After that, I'm going to assume you could care less and you're not coming. Its a valid assumption. YOU WILL GET CANCELED AND UR CARD WILL BE CHARGED! Again, I don't make your appointments. YOU DO!

That being said, please don't waste my time or yours. If you make an appointment, come to the appointment. I'd much rather cut your hair instead of free money. I like to work for mine.
Yes, there's barbers out there that have no minimum and will wait all day. Those are walk-in only shops. I take appointments because I'd like my clients to have full control of their day and NOT sit and wait for over an hour for a cut. Who wants to come in and sit for over an hour anyway? Thats 2005 shops. We are in 2026 guys. I respect your time and would appreciate the same.
Again, if ur a regular client and make a habit of not showing up, you'll be canceled and charged and blocked from booking.
If you're a new client, please know that I only wait 5 minutes if there's no communication. After that, you will be canceled and charged.
