YOUR BROWS WILL GET DARKER WHEN TINTED. If you don’t want darker brows, this isn’t for you.

If you have a good amount of hair, congrats! You have more options. Such as:

Tinting lightly so only the hairs are dyed. This can go from very light to very dark, make sure you’re specific with what you want ESPECIALLY if you have a light colored hair.

2nd option is a deeper stain where the hair and the skin is colored. Skin stains last about 3-5 days, 7 if you’re a rebel and completely keep water off them (I don’t recommend this). Overall this is more “dramatic”. This is more of a makeup look, a great representation of what a powder brow tattoo will look like.

If you barely have any hair, tinting the brows relies more on the stain of the skin to achieve a fuller appearance. Hair is still dyed and the color variation (how light or dark you go) will appear more on blonde / light brown brows.

𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 📣

The hair gets darker much quicker than a stand-alone service of a Brow Wax & Tint. Why?

A brow lamination changes the structure of the brow hairs, making them temporarily more porous. That means the tint grabs onto the hairs much faster and can appear darker.

𝐒𝐎! This becomes a balancing act of not letting the hair get too dark while also trying to stain the skin a bit. The skin will never stain as dark when done with a lamination as it does when the tint is done alone with a waxing.

Tell me what you think of this woman’s brows in the video! Was she right for freaking out about her freshly done tint? Booking link for Brow services is in my bio, McKinney only. 📍

Is this the downfall of a Brow Lamination? 💭🤔

I was shocked to learn this …

I’m a Health Coach for an Integrative Medicine Practice, and one thing that’s recommended often is using a continuous glucose monitor.

I was challenged to try one out for myself.

This weekend, I learned that an Ice cream I had caused a smaller blood sugar spike than a healthy, clean ingredient cereal I purchased.

WHAT ?!

It’s all about understanding what YOUR body does with the foods you’re eating.

What concerns me most isn’t the occasional treat.

It’s when we’re genuinely trying to make healthy choices, like grabbing the cereal marketed as healthy, eating overnight oats every morning, making chia pudding because social media said it’s good for us … while our bodies aren’t responding in a positive way.

When blood sugar is on a roller coaster, it can impact energy, mood, cravings, inflammation, skin health, and so much more.

The biggest takeaway so far?

Assumptions aren’t data. 💯

I lost both my parents to heart disease.

When my annual physical in March (‘25) revealed undesirable blood markers, I knew I needed to make big shifts. 𝘐 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘥 (I was 34) to see if lifestyle intervention could help. I know this isn’t always the case …

My name is Mallory and I’ve been a Licensed Esthetician for 14+ years and now work as an Integrative Health Coach supporting women in their individual health transformations through lifestyle/nutrition changes.

I’m a SoCal native living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and still travel back to California regularly to see clients for Esthetic services. I also work with women virtually all over the country that want to clean up their daily skincare routines and make more conscious hormone-healthy choices when it comes to beauty/lifestyle products.

My own healing journey started in 2018, when years of stress finally caught up with me. In 2020, I came off hormonal birth control (after 12 years) and began the long (and honestly, empowering) process of getting my cycle back, clearing my skin, and making strides towards healing my gut. That journey shaped everything I do today.

Most recently, I’ve had huge success lowering my heart-health markers, naturally — and it’s made me even more passionate about helping other women address their health concerns in a committed, natural way. I believe our bodies are incredibly capable of healing when you give them the right support.

I’m currently working towards becoming Nationally Board Certified as a health coach, and I’m obsessed with good food, quality ingredients, self-care, natural healing, non-toxic beauty, and helping other women step into the best versions of themselves.

I’m so happy you’re here ! I’m here to make real-world connections so stop by my DM’s so we can connect! For more info about what I do, click the link in my bio to visit my website.
