My family and friends are VERY IMPORTANT to me. When I lost both my father and step-father (June 2016 - which feels like yesterday), my life changed for the better! I no longer focus on what I have, but who I have in my life and I purposefully use time to foster those relationships.
In December 2020, my Mother (71 years young) was involved in a pretty serious car accident. When I received a call from a DPS trooper - who used her phone - my heart stopped and I prayed for more time! The accident has resulted in a multitude of doctors appointments and hospital visits. With results that are not all favorable, she continues to remain hopeful! These past couple of months, I have witnessed this woman of GOD be fearless, faithful and free in her journey to healing. Something I would easily have missed if my focus had never been shifted in 2016. I am blessed to have her here with me!
