Jeremy's Barber Shop in Mckinney, TX Neighborhood barbershop

We are now open. If I have not reached out to you regarding your canceled appointment due to covid shutdown, please text me the days and time that would work best for you. All recurring appointments will resume. If you need information pertaining your appointment dates, feel free to text me as well.
And for those that are wanting to get in for an appointment, we will do our best to get to you as soon as possible. We will not be accepting walkins to help keep crowds to a minimum. If you do walk in, we ask that you leave your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Update: the barbershop wont be open this week. Hoping to be open no later than June 2nd. The shop is getting some repairs done. Plus with the guidelines put in place by TDLR, we are thinking of doing some adjustments in the shop. That would allow us to maximize the space per station. I will do my best to get this all done as soon as possible. Sorry for any enconvience and thank you for your patience.

Governor Greg Abott has included barber shops and salons to the list that is allowed to be open for business starting today. Unfortunately, we will not be open on this date due to some unplanned circumstances. I appreciate your patience and desires to come see us, but we will be fixing some issues and preparing the shop. Our goal is to open on the 12th. Pending some issues being serviced.

Jeremy's barbershop will be closed for additional weeks. Governor Greg Abott is implementing a multi-phase plan that will slowly put our economy back on track. I am confident that this virus will be contained and soon we will have antibodies to help fight this pandemic. If the positive cases spike, expect a longer delay in opening of our barbershop. So please, take this very serious.
I understand that many of you are eager to get a haircut, but our health is more important at this point. Being a sole proprietor, I am taking a financial hit. As is many others who are unable to work. We all must make sacrifices for the betterment of our community. I do appreciate the willingness from many of you who are wanting to send me cash for services not rendered. I am appreciative of the gesture, but please send the funds to your local food banks and frontline heroes that need supplies. We will make it through this trying time.
I encourage everyone to temper your desires to frequent the garage cutters. This can expose you and your family to the virus. We dont know who may be a carrier of the virus, many are not showing any symptoms. Assume everyone has it, until we get a more clear picture on the spread of this virus.

Update:
March 31st, Governor Greg Abott decided to add barber shops and salons to the list of non essential work that is to be shut down until April 30th.
I know this is tough times for everyone. But I encourage everyone to resist the urge to frequent the shops that are willing to break this state order by the governor. You will be putting your health and potentially mine and my families health at risk if you were to contract the virus and transmit to our shop once we reopen.
At this time, please be patient and we will see eachother very soon.

Notice from TDLR:
On March 31, Gov. Greg Abbott signed Executive Order GA-14, ordering that people and businesses should follow CDC and Presidential guidelines by practicing good hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and sanitation, implementing social distancing, and working from home if possible.

Effective April 2, 2020, only essential services are allowed. Only people providing essential services are permitted to be out in public providing services. This new order prohibits services from being provided by persons licensed under Chapter 401, Sections 501-522, Health and Safety Code (Laser Hair Removal) and Chapters 455 (Massage Therapists), 1601 (Barbers), 1602 (Cosmetologists), and 1603 (Barbering and Cosmetology), Occupations Code.

Additional facilities are closed. Governor Abbott had previously closed massage establishments on March 20. Under the new order, barber and cosmetology shops regulated under Chs. 1601, 1602, and 1603, Occupations Code, and laser hair removal facilities regulated under Chapter 401, Sections 501-522, Health and Safety Code must close by 12:01 a.m. April 2, 2020. The order is in effect until April 30, 2020 and supersedes any city or county orders.

Attention: Due to the covid-19 virus, we have decided to take precautionary measures and close down the shop for the next 2 weeks. Pending a decision from local government, this may be extended past the current 2 weeks we will start this week. Sorry for any enconvience. Stay safe and do your part in not spreading to your loved ones and those around you.
