Always A Good Hair Day

had a dream for years to have navy blue hair. Navy blue hair, she will have! This was such a fun and unique project that I’m so happy I was able to do. Thank you Jade for trusting to make your hair dreams come true!

This was a super fun color that I was privileged to do! came with a fun, creative idea and gave me an awesome shot at the end.

When you’re home all the time living the quarantine life, you have to have a little fun with your hair! We did a little peekaboo violet and magenta on the underside of her Aline Bob.

At first we had planned to do just the underside as mermaid and bright beautiful blonde on top... But she got here and said “let’s go for it!” This mermaid hair was so much fun and absolutely stunning on her!! I love doing fashion colors!

“I didn’t know my hair could look like this!” 👈🏽 I live for these comments right here! She grew up always having super straight hair that became more curly as she aged so she didn’t know how to style it, had a haircut with just a little too many layers for her newfound texture. Her base color was a little too dark and flat with some stark contrasting highlights. So we went with a slightly lighter base that was a rich, warm brown, we went with a light, fine weave highlight and toned overall to create a very soft, sun-kissed blend in her color. Shortened up her haircut to better fit the style with the layers and began a journey to growing it out a little, and educated her on how to take care of her curls. She was amazed and had a new love for her hair. “I didn’t know my hair could look like this!”

I have all my summer hair transformations to post still! This beauty came to see me back in July and wanted to have some cool blonde highlights. So we created something soft, cool, and beautiful! Of course, I forgot to take a before photo. 😒 It’s a life skill I’m working on.

Quarantine hair, don’t care!.. Ok, maybe we care a little... This was a fun hairstyle change. She had decided to go blonde on her own and it didn’t quite come out with the desired result. Originally we were going to fix it up and get the beautiful ashy blonde, but then changed our mind and went completely different! So instead we did a beautiful, bright red and an undercut pixie haircut. This was so fun to create with her!

I cannot express how much I absolutely LOVE doing vivid hair colors! They are SO much fun to do and see at the end, there are endless possibilities of colors and styles, bold or peekaboos, and the best part- there is no age limit! Vivids, or fashion colors, are not just for young kids. Adults can play too! And why not? Who says hair always has to be natural all of the time? Let’s have some fun! @ McMinnville, Oregon
