Ever since I started working at The a Cutting Edge and I found my home I’ve been trying really hard to find myself as a stylist and create a brand for myself. I know these past couple of months I haven’t been posting but that’s because I’ve been trying to create content for my brand and I still haven’t mastered it yet. But I promise things are coming very soon! I’ve been working on some crazy transformations, I got extension certified and I’ve been perfecting my techniques. Things are looking bigger and BETTER than before! Thank you all for sticking by me and I hope you’re all just as excited as I am!🤗🥰

Remembering the time the lovely Shealeigh came and saw me because she needed a foil tough up. This time we did something a little different, we gave her babylights. A babylight is a much finer, thinner highlight. By doing this it gives her an over all apperance of being bright and blonde without having any harsh highlight lines while shes growing between appointments!

I love showing clients their hair straight before I go and curl it. You can see how seamless the blend is from the balayage/color we did. Most of the time people wear their hair straight so it gives them a chance to see what it is going to look like in their everyday life as well!!

So around 9 oclock last night one of my clients video calls me and is in a panic because her sister tried to lighten her hair with box lightener and now her hair is all different kinds of colors. Pumpkin orange, blonde, brown, copper, everything. So I asked her if she was free today and if they could come in. When she got here and I saw it I knew we were gonna have our work out out for us. She wanted to be a creamy color blonde. So I went with a full head of foils and w root smudge with a toner. Color corrections can be a very timely, complex, and costly matter so next time you think about putting a box color on your hair, remember there is no gaurentee that your hair is going to turn out like the person on the front of the box. But I could not be any happier with how this turned out!

The brightness you get from a few foils is insane. We put just 10 foils in the top and retouched her natural balayage. It gave her beautiful demensional hair, that is low maintained, a soft grow out and she’ll only have to come see me every 12-16 weeks!

ｓｏｆｔ • ａｎｄ • ｓｕｂｔｌｅ
This beauty came to see me and she wanted something that was soft but bright. So we went with an option that would give her the brightness that she wanted without having any harsh lines or cause exentsive damage to her hair. I went with a subtle balayage because it gives her a lighter appearnce, it will have low maintance and still have an all over natural look.

This sweetie came to see because she wanted to rock some purple hair for the summer!😈 I started with lightening her ends with pulp riot lightener. Then I overlayed pulp riot velvet with a smidge of Jam so it wasn't too dark. After we curled her hair and gave her a big viking braid down the middle and she was starstruck! It's always exciting seeing a clients face after we do a big change, it makes me realize why I chose to do the job I do!💜💜

This beauty came to see me because she wanted to do something different for the summer. Abby decided that instead of staying blonde she wanted to go darker. It's easier for her to maintain when her natural hair grows in & she can pull off any hair color she wants! We went with a nice warm chocolate color and we couldn't have asked for a better result!❤️

Happy August everyone! My lovely friend Brittany came to see me and we did quite a transformation on her. She came in platinum blonde & wanted a lowlight put through it! So I touched up her highlihgts and we gave her a level 3N lowlight throughout it using Rusk color. Then I toned her blonde with equal parts 10A & 10N. We couldn't of been happier with how this turned out!
