Our salon is closing.

After a 4 month long battle trying to find a way to keep it open, I have conceded. There are building code requirements that I just can not afford. I fought the hard battle with the City and looked at every possible scenario to keep it running.

We will stop taking clients this Saturday. Is this abrupt, yes. But I have a stop work order from the City and that is what we have to do.

Marcie and Sean will be taking clients at The Ritual starting on Monday, August 10th. Avery, Zoe and Katie will be reaching out to their clients and letting them know where they will be working going forward. These three girls have the skills to continue to succeed in this industry and continue to be incredible Stylists. Jordan will stay on as our front desk and my assistant.

I know there is a silver lining somewhere, I just haven't found it yet. BUT I am incredibly lucky to have been a part of these girls lives, they are such amazing humans and they made me a better person over the last couple of years.

Katie brings over 5 years experience to the Salon, she specializes in lived in color and blonding. She loves making people feel good about themselves and ensuring they leave her chair feeling great and with a smile on their face.

Last night around 10pm our new booking software went live. As with any change, there can be difficulties.

We wholeheartedly apologize to those that saw openings today that weren’t really there and we had to cancel those appointments.

We’re hairstylists trying to navigate also being IT professionals, web designers and marketing professionals as well as wearing many other hats. So mistakes occur and we apologize.
