Dear Friends and Guests of Salon Vivid,
Thank you very much for your years of continued support. Jimy Angel first opened Salon Vivid in August of 1992, with his vision and passion to create a welcoming and fun environment for guests to take care of their beauty needs. Jimy unfortunately passed away unexpectedly 4 years ago, leaving behind his wife Kelly Angel, daughter Lauren Angel, and son Maxfield Angel. As a family, with the support of our team at Salon Vivid and the community we maintained ownership and management of the business.
After nearly 27 years of service to the Rogue Valley we have chosen, as a family, that it is time to close this chapter of our lives. May 31st is the official closure day for Salon Vivid. We are focusing on other passions and ventures. We will continue to be involved in the community around us that we have known and loved throughout our whole lives in this valley.
I, Maxfield Angel, have chosen to follow in my father’s footsteps, by pursuing a career in the Beauty Industry. Currently I am in an apprenticeship and working with one of my father’s past apprentices and dear friend. Studio C and Corbett’s in Jacksonville is my professional home. Lauren Angel is following in our father’s footsteps as well by, running her own small business here in the Rogue Valley. Her business, Angel Farms, focuses on quality produce, grown with organic and sustainable methods. She uses fresh produce to create a large variety of delicious preserves, including several types of pickles, jams and jellies, and tomato-based sauces. She can be found at the local farmers markets in Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, and Grants Pass. Thank you again, so very much, for all the years of continued support. We are eternally grateful for the friends, experiences, connections, and memories that we have gained along the way. As this chapter of our lives closes we are excited to move forward in our future endeavors; encouraging our community and friends to be involved, as you have been supportive of us for so many years.
