I specialize in body usage techniques and positional awareness training to help you maintain the relaxation of the massage long after you’ve left the table. A one hour session can be spent on a full-body general relaxation massage or it can be very focused, addressing specific areas of need. If you would prefer, we can also work together to custom design a 90 minute program developed for you personally, with part of the session being focus work and the remainder dedicated to relaxation. I take a very holistic approach to my treatments, realizing the connections between areas of the body. Your need will always be the center of this program. My rates are competitive, priced at $110 for a one hour Swedish relaxation massage. Your first visit will include a 10-15 minute "getting to know you period" with some time spent doing postural assessment, gait analysis and session planning. For deep tissue work, I encourage 90 or 120 minute sessions, which allow me to work on problem areas as well as provide ample time for general relaxation. The rate for a 90 minute session is $150, and a 120 minute session would be $195. After your visit we will devise a plan for future care, based on what it is that you specifically need/want. I can accept payment in cash, check, American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Of course, I will always work with you to try and keep the cost within your means. My studio is located in Medford at 379 Main Street at the corner of Main St and Harvard St. I am part of a collective there called the Corner Studio Massage Collaborative. My hours are flexible, with studio time available during the day as well as evening hours and weekends. For your convenience, you can book sessions directly from my website. It is also possible to order electronic gift certificates directly from my site to send a third party, and you can even schedule them to be delivered on the date you choose.
