Sharing the love- We finally made it in before they sold out. 😂🥐

Petite Grace had dropped off a sample for us before they opened, so we already knew the croissants were amazing. The problem has been actually getting there early enough to snag one since opening. 😆

The other day on my way to work, I found out my daughter Jaden was coming in to help me, so I asked, “Want me to try to get you a croissant?”

Her immediate response: “HELL YES.” 😂

Mission accomplished.

And yes, still amazing.

We’re pretty sure they’re not using Em’z Blendz products to make them glow like that 😂 but they ARE importing their butter and flour from France, so that probably explains a few things. 🇫🇷✨

October’s Third Friday is going to be EXTRA fun downtown! 🍷🍴✨

Friday, October 16 kicks off the first day of Forks & Friends, Downtown Medford’s celebration of food, drinks, local businesses and community.

The evening starts with the Forks & Friends Stroll from 4–7pm, with bites from local restaurants, w**e, craft b**r, spirits, mocktails, live music and stops all around downtown.

And yes… Em’z Blendz is one of the stops! 🥰 We’ll have Quady North pouring right here at the shop, so come see us!

Then Forks & Friends Restaurant Week keeps going through October 25, giving you even more reasons to eat, drink, shop and explore downtown Medford.

Downtown Medford Association Medford Third Friday Quady North

Cutting Oregon Coast Soap today and look what I found hiding in one of the swirls… a little heart. 🤍🌊

Which feels pretty perfect because I really do love this soap.

And even cuter, it looks just like the little heart I always draw in my signature. 🥹

It’s one of those bars that just looks like Oregon to me. That teal ocean layer, sandy shore, Pacific sea salt, and that fresh coastal blend of cypress, cedarwood, eucalyptus, peppermint and lime. Every single bar comes out a little different, which is part of what I love about making it.

And apparently one of them decided to come with a heart.

Now I’m wondering… who is going to end up with this special little bar? 💙

One of those little things we do that most people probably never think about… we bevel the edges of every bar so when you use it for the first time, it already feels nice and smooth. 🧼

Jaden says it’s oddly satisfying. I agree. 😂

Then I started showing off a few soaps and smelling them as I went, which is also how I ended up with a piece of soap on my nose in the last video.

So there’s that mystery solved. 😆

Shop days are always better when my daughter is here. 🤍

I told her I still feel awkward making these little videos.

She said, “That’s because you are.” 😐😂

Okay then.

Ashland is where Em’z Blendz began, and after more than 20 years on the same block, we just couldn’t leave. I’m mostly in Medford these days because that’s where my workshop is, and it’s where we do most of the making and shipping. But this little Ashland shop will always feel like home.

Today, I’m back where it all started. 🥰

A little Downtown Medford Main Street update! 💛

They’re starting the new paint and striping Monday evening, and we’ve been told the entire project should be finished by the end of September. That is such a fast turnaround, and I’m really grateful for that.

Change can feel a little messy while it’s happening, but I’m choosing to stay positive and excited about where downtown is headed. More parking, a refreshed Main Street, and continued investment in our downtown businesses and community.

Thank you for continuing to come downtown, shop, eat, visit, and support all of us while the work is happening. The best thing we can do is keep showing up and keep moving forward together. ❤️
