I don’t know how these photos got left behind, but here’s a little throwback to Leah’s hair transformation! She had no preexisting color on her hair, so the results were everything I could have hoped for.
To create this look, I used a balayage technique, and concentrated most of the lightener on the ends. We wanted to create a “lived-in” look that didn’t show any lines of demarcation as it grew out. (SWIPE for the before!)
Balayage clients can typically go MONTHS without needing to be lightened again. However, be prepared to see me about every 6 weeks to refresh your toner and trim split ends.

Not every client goes darker for Fall & Winter, and i’m loving a little bit of “sunshine” on this rainy day. Highlights are a great way to change up your look, brighten your haircolor, and even disguise grey hair - meaning you can color your hair less frequently!
If you’ve had or booked a highlight service before, you may have been asked if you prefer a “full” or a “partial” highlight. What’s the difference?
- Partial highlights are only applied to certain parts of your head (top, side, back, ends, etc.).
- Full Highlights are applied all throughout your head (from the hairline to the nape, including the hair underneath).
