we could perform the exact same technique, use the exact same pigment, and follow the exact same process on two different people, and the results still won’t look identical.

everyone has a unique brow bone, eye shape, facial symmetry, skin tone, skin type, natural brow hair, and muscle movement.

our job isn’t to copy and paste someone else’s brows onto your face. it’s to create brows that look like they were always meant to be YOURS.

that’s why we spend so much time mapping, measuring, choosing the right color, and customizing every single appointment before we ever begin tattooing.

the goal has never been to make you look like someone else. it’s to make you look like the best version of you!

“wait… why does it say permanent brows are $400, but when i click it changes to $800?” 🤔

we get this question all the time, so let’s clear it up!

📆 our booking site, vagaro, will display the lowest price for services before you’ve selected an artist.

prices may vary because each artist at the glow factory has different experience levels and credentials, therefore their pricing differs.

for example, you might see $400 when you first click on “microblading”. that’s because our junior artist, susan, is currently offering 50% off regular pricing (being $800) while she builds her portfolio.

once you select the artist you’d like to book with, you’ll see their individual pricing for that service.

one of the biggest misconceptions wesee is that you should come in for a colorboost every year “just because.”

the truth? if your permanent makeup still looks great, we'd rather wait.

every time we tattoo the skin, we create a small amount of trauma. while your skin heals beautifully, it also forms tiny amounts of scar tissue. over time, getting unnecessary colorboosts can build up that scar tissue, making it more difficult for your skin to retain pigment in the future.

your skin can also only hold so much pigment - think of it like a sponge.

that’s why we always prioritize the long-term health of your skin over getting you back in my chair sooner.

for most clients, we recommend colorboosts every 1–3 years, but that’s just a guideline. everyone’s skin is different. in reality, many of our clients don’t come back until 2–5 years after their original appointment… and some never need a colorboost at all!

there isn’t a magic timeline because factors like your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine, medications, and how your body naturally holds pigment all play a role.

our goal isn’t to have you coming back as often as possible, it’s to make sure your permanent makeup heals beautifully, ages gracefully, and keeps your skin healthy for years to come.

how to get freckles this summer without the sun damage!

faux freckle tattoos are the best way to look cute without having to sit out in the sun for hours.

in your first sessions, we’ll do 10-15 freckles, because we don’t want to go overboard before we can see exactly how they’re going to heal on you.

we want to make sure they heal the right intensity and tone before adding more.

for this reason a lot of our clients end up doing multiple sessions to build up the look they want.

and we discount all sessions after the first one.
