Time to get it!!! My DNA told me I need to do HIIT work 2-3 times per week…trying a different strategy… usually do it after work… problem my body doesn’t seem to like cardio in the pm… so back to the am…
And listening to my guru master trainer Paul Michel who said after my lifting routine, do 20min of cardio keeping my HR in zone 2 to burn fat…i will keep u all updated on my progress

DO NOT WAIT!!!! Just like everyone else I decided I was going to get in the best physical shape of my life starting in 2024… then I decided NOT to wait…. I month ago, I committed to decreasing my body fat to 15% by my 60th bday(4/1)…. I had ballooned up to 26% and felt awful…I sat down with my wellness director(Mark MCoy) and my wife Karen to map out the plan… nutritionally I was SHORT calories ( u read that correctly) and dialed in my macros to really cut saturated fat, sugar ( my DNA told me I was super sensitive to that)and really crank up my protein. I didn’t go crazy… I was very reasonable in my expectations… I enjoyed Thanksgiving( had enough carbs and fat forn3 days)but didnt go overboard and got back on plan the Friday after.
I had Mark McCoy , a master trainer, create a workout program specifically for me based upon my DNA analysis from ID Life…

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 . For all that know me, u already know that today is my favorite day of the year!!!! Per tradition, I am up at 5 and the turkey is in the oven!!! So grateful this year for so many reasons, but none greater than for my beautiful wife who has embraced my craziness for this special day. She Is making all my favorite fixings and understands that for years I didn’t have this day…. Always studying or on call I never got to sit back and reflect on just what this day represents. I am so blessed to live freely and practice my faith and be surrounded by some of the most amazing humans the Lord has ever created.
