Over time our clients become our friends who turn into almost like our extended family, and when we have to say goodbye, for whatever reason, it's never easy.
This afternoon I found out this was going to be the last cut I would be giving a gentleman whom I've been doing his and his familys hair for the past 20 years. As his home has recently sold and they will be moving out of town.
They were here with me while my current house was being built, we talked colors together. Emmanual was just a baby then!
I watched as their kids progressed through school, and listened to his daughter tell me her dreams of becoming a physician all throughout high-school, then continued to listen excitedly as she worked her way through college to do just that. Retirements, marriages, vacations, and health issues, we've gone through it all.
Each and every one of you mean so much to me and will forever hold a place filled with special memories in my heart ❤️
So, (I don't know if they follow me on here or not, but) here's to the Hodgkins', congratulations, and best of luck on your new chapter. You will be missed!
