The Sorelli Family
Rose and Grace are sisters born and raised on Long Island, New York. Grace started her career in high school through a program called BOCES. During her senior year, she worked as an assistant in a salon and upon graduation she worked at a barber shop – and soon found customers waiting in line out the door for her famous men’s haircuts. Rose started her hair career a little later in life, after having her two children, Anthony and Julianna. She started working as a receptionist in a salon just to get out of the house, but soon learned she wanted to be behind the chair. Rose went to cosmetology school during the day while Grace watched her niece and nephew. Rose achieved her Master Stylist certification shortly after graduation. After moving to Florida 17 years ago, the pair worked at the same salons and enjoyed spending time together in and away from work.
In November of 2009, Rose & Grace made their dream a reality: opening their own salon, Sorelli Hair Studio & Spa. Starting with just 3 stylists and one receptionist, the sisters quickly outgrew their original location on US-1. They moved the business to their Suntree location, which is now home to more then 30 technicians ranging from hairdressers to massage therapists. They credit their phenomenal success in such a short time to their simple philosophy: create a friendly place where clients feel comfortable, enjoy their time, and leave with a feeling of satisfaction.
Together they’ve built a business that appeals to those who want the best services and products at a reasonable price. The salon and spa is an intimate setting where their guests receive the latest hair styles and the most modern nail and spa services. Rose & Grace are always on the floor, working along their staff, helping them grow and ensuring that each client who walks through the door has an amazing and unforgettable experience.
Family is the most important thing to them – even their salon’s name “Sorelli,” – which means sisters in Italian – reflects their devotion to family, friends, clients and to each other. They strive to make both the staff and their clients feel part of the “Sorelli Family.”
