Whether you are transforming lashes, mastering skin fades, or building a high-vibe brand inside your own studio, owning your specialty is the ultimate flex.
Exactly one year ago today, , Naolybeauty, , and moved in, and IMAGE opened its doors to customers.
Johan saw 16 customers that day. So did Lola. Our small group had a great start.
These five rock stars have grown their businesses, upgraded their studios and become the heart of IMAGE. Our group of 5 grew to 7 a few days later when Refined by Angel and moved in, then to 15, and now there are more than 30 business owners at IMAGE.
Watching that happen over the past year has been pretty damn cool. Thanks to for celebrating with us today! The adventure continues. 💗

To all the barbers out there, we wanted to share some words from Johan about what being a barber means to him:
"Being a barber has completely changed my life. It has given me the opportunity to build something of my own, provide for my family, and create meaningful relationships with people from all walks of life. Barbering is more than cutting hair to me: it’s about helping people feel confident, creating a space where they feel valued, and being part of important moments in their lives. This career has taught me discipline, patience, perseverance, and the importance of believing in yourself even when the journey isn’t easy. It has opened doors I once only dreamed about, including owning my private suite at IMAGE Studios and becoming part of such an inspiring community." 🙌🏻💈

I was in NYC on 9/11/01.
I was walking down the street at 8:55 AM when someone grabbed me, saying, “The terrorists have attacked! The terrorists have attacked! Look at the smoke!”
I saw the smoke, but was still skeptical about what was happening, so I ran into a New York Sports Club where they had several TVs broadcasting live. At 9:03 AM, my hair stood up as I watched the second plane fly into 2 WTC and understood this wasn't an accident.
I had worked in 2 WTC and knew people in the Twin Towers that morning.
I still get chills every time I talk about 9/11. I remember the acrid smell, the anxiety of not being able to call to make sure everyone was OK because all the phone lines were busy for hours, and watching the plume of debris shoot into the air when the second tower fell.
What I remember most, however, was the solidarity I felt that night walking the streets with thousands of other New Yorkers.
I keep a “Freedom is not free” pin that I bought in the days following 9/11 in my jewelry box.
I can’t believe it’s been 25 years.
I only hope it doesn’t take another terrifying event to get past the division in our country and come together again.
I will never forget.
