Story time ❤️
This past week for Nurses Week, I had the privilege of bringing the perfume bar experience to the amazing nurses at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
But what’s so crazy is how it all came full circle.
Just two months ago, I was setting up my perfume bar at a Memphis Hustle game simply testing the waters and putting myself out there. I wasn’t getting paid to be there. It was just an intentional investment in my brand visibility and a commitment to putting myself and my vision out into the community.
What’s even crazier is that the game was actually the very first time I ever used my perfume machine. I was so nervous, just trying to figure it all out as I went. (Shoutout to my mom for helping me 🙌🏽)
While there, I met a nurse who coordinates events for Le Bonheur. She stopped by my table, became one of my first customers, and told me their nurses would LOVE a perfume bar experience. We exchanged numbers and just one month later… I was hosting a perfume bar for them. ❤️
This experience just reinforced a powerful business lesson for me: never underestimate the power of a seed planted. You never know where one “yes” can lead you.
Sometimes we wait until everything is perfect before we move, but some of the biggest blessings happen when you simply show up, deliver excellence, and trust God with the rest. Your gift will make room for you every single time. ❤️
